About Sheila McDonald

Sheila McDonald is an Edinburgh-based Scottish jeweller and silversmith who works mainly in silver, gold, and vitreous enamel.

She brings together traditional jewellery and silversmithing skills with a range of enamel techniques. Inspired by colour and drawing, she creates contemporary pieces that acknowledge the legacy of earlier craftsmen.

She is a Freeman of the Goldsmiths’ Company, a short course tutor at West Dean College, and a Fellow of Bishopsland Educational Trust.
