Sarah Pulvertaft
About Sarah Pulvertaft
Sarah uses traditional jewellery making techniques to create unique wearable objects in silver and gold. Repeated and articulated elements are central themes that she explores, making intriguing, undulating and rippling surfaces within and edging circular frames.
Maker Enquiry Form
Fascinated by repetition in nature and particularly by the meditative quality of the mass of elements in, for example, a field of crops or the bough of a tree in leaf and its movement, Sarah uses repeated and articulating elements to create gently undulating surfaces and unusual, sometimes unruly forms. Using small cubes as the repeated motif in her pieces she seeks to describe the allure of profusion in the environments that surround us.
