Sam Ham
About Sam Ham
SAM HAM is a London-based fine jewellery practice specialising in the redesign of existing pieces, reimagining jewellery as symbols of renewal, reinvention and personal evolution.
Founded by Sam Hamilton, the brand works with inherited pieces, unworn engagement rings and diamonds from past relationships, transforming clients’ stones and gold into bold, contemporary designs. Each commission begins with what a client already owns and rebuilds it into a one-of-a-kind piece designed for the life they have now.
The concept of “divorce jewellery” emerged when a client commissioned a 60th birthday gift for her divorced mother, whose engagement and wedding rings no longer felt wearable but remained deeply valuable. Rather than replace them, Hamilton reimagined the stones into a new design: repositioning the original diamond alongside coloured gemstones to create something entirely personal.
The piece became a blueprint for SAM HAM’s approach: reframing jewellery from past relationships into modern heirlooms aligned with a woman’s present life.

At its core, SAM HAM believes jewellery should evolve alongside the wearer. With training across Dublin, Florence, Cork, Amsterdam and Milan, Sam established her London practice to challenge convention: creating bold, deeply personal pieces that reflect identity, independence and change rather than tradition alone.
Because perfect is boring.
