About Misha McLean

Misha McLean is a jeweller based in Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated in 2024 from the Glasgow School of Art with a BA (Hons) in Silversmithing and Jewellery, having completed an exchange semester at New York’s Pratt Institute. Since then, she has been an Artist in Residence at the Glasgow School of Art. Her ongoing collection, ‘Repeat Prescription’ is a body of political art jewellery that explores relationships with and attitudes toward medicine in the western world. Using precious materials alongside fluorescent bursts reminiscent of ’90s rave posters, Misha fuses contemporary and traditional silversmithing skills to create talismanic, thought-provoking wearable art.
