Jessie Harris

About Jessie Harris

Jessie is a fine artist turned fine jeweller, creating talismans that carry their own special significance. Intuitively designed to bridge past and future, with references to historical motifs seen through a contemporary lens, Jessie’s pieces are symbolic of stories, feelings and moments in time that become part of her clients’ daily rituals.

Following her Fine Art degree, Jessie craved a more practical, intimate realisation of her creativity and experimented with sculptural jewellery design, using inherited tools. As she refined her craft, her growing interest in the history of fine jewellery began to inform her aesthetic – and her longstanding curiosity with the idea of ‘retrofuturism’ began.

Today, Jessie continues to take an informal and playful approach to modern fine jewellery-making, seeking to grasp, ground, and gift a little fine-art alchemy to her real-world clients.

Drawing inspiration from historical symbols and design seen from a contemporary point of view, Jessie’s One-of-a-Kind collection depicts a love affair with champagne, brown and yellow diamonds, paired with recycled gold in a minimal palette, allowing for subtle contrast within texture and form.
