About Jessica Jue
Jessica is a London based silversmith and jeweller. Known for her sculptural aesthetic, Jessica’s design is deeply influenced by her Chinese heritage and Austrian upbringing, in which fluid and bold designs are created. She reinvents traditional techniques in silver to craft elegantly beautiful contemporary designs.
Inspired by balance and harmony, Jessica sculpts with dramatic use of fluid and organic playful curves creating a sense of rhythmic movement within her collection. She skillfully manipulates her forms through the ancient art of hammering, while also introducing an abundance of rich surface textures, through the use of pattern and gold.
Known for sculpturally elegant designs and quality craftsmanship, each piece is created using traditional silversmithing techniques. Jessica Jue combines these skills with intuitive ways of working with metal, which allow the behaviour of metal to speak for itself, giving a tactile and gentle feel to her pieces. The forms she creates are manipulated through the ancient art of hammering and decorated with an abundance of rich surface textures, through the use of textures, pattern and gold fusing.
