Ingo Henn

About Ingo Henn
For jewellery designer Ingo Henn, rare coloured gems always form the focal point. This passion was nurtured by his family, 3rd generation goldsmiths and precious stone dealers in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Graduating in 1996 as a master goldsmith, Ingo moved to the UK, establishing Henn of London in the capital’s Hatton Garden.
His jewellery combines precision-cut gemstones with refined goldsmithing and special techniques such as enamelling and hand engraving.
The work is bespoke, bold, colourful and modern as well as elegant and timeless with an unerring emphasis on detail.
Ingo is a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths, a certified gemologist and a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
He has undertaken numerous commissions and his work can be seen in many collections including the V&A, the Vintners’ Company, The Cutlers’ Company and The House of Lords.
