Francesca Marcenaro

About Francesca Marcenaro

Francesca makes unusual pieces of jewellery, mixing different techniques, looking for organic and tactile results. Her signature is “glass granulation” a technique that she developed inspired by traditional granulation and enamelling: the effect is a unique, soft sparkle on the surface of most of her pieces. Other unmissable inspirations are fairy tales and nature: all jewels are like pieces of nature that the fairies collect from nature to adorn themselves. For Francesca jewellery must always be wearable and comfortable: a quality that also her bigger pieces have. She studied Jewellery at the Art Institute in Florence and continues to attend different courses to improve her knowledge and to find new ways to make Jewellery.
