Finlay’s designs come from extensive periods of drawing where he develops patterns through iterative studies. He employs clean lines and repeating patterns, often using bold colours to create striking contrasts. His use of negative space generates dynamic patterns resembling optical illusions. This visual language defines his distinctive jewellery and objects.
