Edwin Charmain
About Edwin Charmain
Descending from a textile-producing family, Indonesia-born Jewellery designer-maker Edwin Charmain specialised in the ancient art of filigree making. By twisting and compressing fine wires, Charmain creates elaborate ornamentations whose design and shape were born from the amalgamation of his country’s batik motifs/iconography with unique sequences found in natural objects and buildings.
