Maker Enquiry Form
Recently, I’ve been enjoying delving into the realms of interior design and fine art. Through using various metals and a process of strip weaving, I’ve been creating pieces to hang on the wall. Using the process of anodising I can change the colour of metal prior to weaving, allowing me to ‘paint in metal’. The resulting work is framed in traditional painting frames and promoted as ‘metal paintings.’ I enjoy how these pieces sit alongside smaller scale jewellery pieces. This allows me to watch the work migrate from the body to the wall while using complimentary techniques on both scales.
