Barbara Bertagnolli

About Barbara Bertagnolli
Barbara Bertagnolli draws her inspiration from the colours, cuts and shapes of the gemstones she selects, often using the more unusual cuts and shapes to enhance the abstract appearance of the final piece. She works directly with the stones and without drawings, using the distinctive technique combining silver and 24ct gold. The influences for her one-off pieces come from the Medieval period, the Vienna Secession, Art Deco and contemporary forms. Barbara welcomes individual commissions and is happy to show her collection by appointment at her studio in London.
