About Ane Christensen
Ane grew up in Denmark and came to the UK in 1993 to study jewellery design and work as a silversmiths’ assistant. She established her practice after graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1999.
Ane’s metalwork explores themes such as optical illusion, balance and contrast. She works with a range of metals, often combining them in unexpected ways. Her work is represented in several major museum collections including the V&A, the Crafts Council, Koldinghus Museum DK and the Goldsmiths’ Company Collection. Ane lives and works in East London.
