The work combines traditional techniques with innovative technologies. Using a laser welder allows materials like stainless steel, gemstones, and found objects to retain their delicate qualities while forming kinetic elements within sterling silver structures. A key feature is the contrast between light and dark, achieved through oxidisation, stainless steel, and gemstones, as well as between smooth and sharp, with minimal outer surfaces revealing intricate, sometimes spiky, interiors.
