Day 9: Roundup

October 6, 2016

This morning we were delighted to welcome Janice Hosegood and Dr Beatriz Chadour-Sampson to talk about Barbara Cartlidge and Electrum Gallery, coinciding with their recent publication A Passion for Jewellery.

We are also hosting an exhibition of work by Barbara Cartlidge, during this year’s Fair, featuring 18 exquisite and boundary-pushing pieces of jewellery crafted in the 60s and 70s. This special display provides a glimpse into the renowned jeweller’s creative expression and distinguished career. Read more here, and view the opening times here.

This afternoon, Corinne Julius led a fascinating discussion between jewellers Jessica Turrell and Flora Bhattachary on contemporary jewellery. The talk will be available soon as a podcast. See Jessica and Flora at the Fair until Sunday.

You can now also listen to a Podcast of Brian Kennedy’s talk on Silver: The Dark Side here. See the exhibition at Goldsmiths’ Fair until Sunday.
