175 Years of The Scottish Gallery

The Scottish Gallery have put together an exhibition to celebrate their past 175 years and the future of the gallery.

Over one hundred artists have been invited to respond with a small work of art for the exhibition which has resulted in a variety of unique works. Many of the exhibitors are have been working towards future exhibitions and others have not exhibited with The Scottish Gallery for some time but all are part of a community of creative people making up The Scottish Gallery family.

Over fifty applied artists have produced original, commemorative pins in a range of media and a similar number of artists have made uniformly scaled works of equal originality. Many of these applied artists include Goldsmiths’ Fair exhibitors: Jane Adam, Stacey Bentley, Elizabeth Jane Campbell, Grace Girvan, Jo Hayes Ward, Kathryn Hinton, Adrian Hope, Andrew Lamb, Beth Legg, Joanne Thompson, Hazel Thorn, Adi Toch, Jessica Turrell, Heather Woof, Yusuke Yamamoto.
