More about the maker
David Ashton truly hand makes his jewellery. Metal work and stones are calibrated to 0.01mm, appropriate to his training as a scientific & medical instrument maker in Cambridge. All his jewellery is designed to be aesthetically pleasing, but also comfortable and durable. Many of his tools unique, he has had to make them in order to give him the perfect finish his work is renown for. His signatures are stacking rub-over set rings, and combining 18ct yellow and white gold to form stripes, dots and circles which are part of the construction of the piece not a surface finish.
