Kelly Munro

WEEK TWO, STAND 13

Kelly’s work is inspired by harbours and coast lines and is created from wood and precious metals. She draws inspiration from lobster pots, ropes, shoals of fish, buoys and weathered boats.

Kelly uses an ancient technique called pyrography to pattern the wooden surface allowing her to build detailed patterns which contrast with the wood and silver mimicking fish shoals and lobster pots.
