Join jeweller Evgeniia Balashova as she discusses how her work has developed since graduating in 2016 and what inspires her to continue to push the boundaries of jewellery through 3D printing.

Bryna Pomp has spent her entire career in the field of jewellery and is a globally recognised expert in contemporary jewellery. Working for the Museum of Arts and Design in New York as Director of MAD About Jewelry since 2011, she is focused on strategically searching the world for the most innovative, creative, skilled contemporary jewellery makers to present at this annual sale at the Museum.

Evgeniia Balashova is a Russian born contemporary jewellery designer and maker. She graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2016 and continued to set up her practice shortly after. Eve creates her unique pieces using a combination of 3d printing and metalworking skills, bringing tradition and innovation together in unique, captivating compositions. Her approach to making is experimental in the sense of pushing the boundaries and material possibilities of 3D printed nylon. Each piece from Eve’s collection is a careful manipulation of weight, texture and kinetic qualities of this material.
