Since 2014 Goldsmiths’ Fair has been delighted to host an ambassador programme, helping us to further our reach in support of the Trade. Our ambassadors are passionate about promoting the fantastic work made in the UK by individual designer makers.
Our ambassadors’ interest in jewellery and silversmithing has varying origins. Cathy Howe visited the first Goldsmiths’ Fair for her 21st birthday and has been to every subsequent Fair since. Jinny McLeod-Hatch is another long-time supporter of the Fair, who shared with us over ten years’ of collecting for the Fair blog in 2016.
Other fellow ambassadors are leading figures in the UK craft and design industry, with an expert knowledge on the creative sector. The makers and the Fair are able to draw on this extraordinary resource of specialist knowledge to help us to deliver the best possible Fair to our visitors, and to help our exhibitors grow their businesses and their craft.
You’ll be able to spot our ambassadors during the Fair, wearing their exclusive pins designed by Heather Woof. Look out for our Ambassadors during the Fair, who are always happy to share their extensive knowledge and passion for jewellery and silver.
